Basics of Trauma Inclusion
| 2 - 3 hours
Trauma seems to be used as a catch all for something that was hard or bad. But actually, trauma describes incidents or experiences that are much more specific and long lasting. With about 75% of people in America experiencing trauma symptoms at some point in their life we seem to collectively know so little about something so prevalent. In this class, we’ll talk about the different types of trauma, different symptoms of trauma, and some basic things we can do to support trauma survivors. Ultimately, when we create more trauma aware and inclusive environments, we set everyone up to better heal and thrive.
Bottom, why!? A conscious discussion of why we bottoms do the things we do.
| 1.5 - 2.5 hours
Is it the sensation? Subspace? Submission? Pain? Yes! In this guided conversation we’ll explore as bottoms, why we are drawn to this side of play. As we dive deeper into our “whys” we’ll find ways to better communicate with our tops and doms, in addition to better understanding ourselves.
Doing Gender Wrong: Homophobia and Anti-Semitism
| 1.5 - 2.5 hours
A fundamental aspect of anti-oppression is knowing that all forms of oppression are connected. But how does homophobia relate to anti-semitism? In this class we will look at how for both Jews and queer people preforming gender “incorrectly” is a crucial component of casting Jews and queers as “other.” We will also explore how in fighting the concept that there is a correct way to do gender, we can fight multiple systems of oppression at once.

Interfaith D/s
| 2 hours
D/s relationships or dynamics are inherently based on difference. Though we intentionally seek out differences in power and role, how do we navigate differences in religion and spirituality? In Interfaith D/s, we’ll first look at principles of interfaith work. Next, we’ll think about how this work shows up in our D/s relationships and dynamics, including how to be allies to those of other faiths. Last, we’ll explore “crossover” moments when we can all show up in the fullness of our faith (or lack thereof.)
Kink and Trauma
| 5-6 hours - abbreviated version can be done in a workshop slot
Kink itself is not inherently based on trauma, but there are many ways in which kink can be used as a conduit for healing. Varieties of kinky technologies and mindsets can be fun in and of themselves but combined with awareness we can make scenes more trauma-informed and help our healing processes along the way. Together, let us think about the ways that trauma survivors are drawn to kink, and in turn how trauma and kink interact with each other.
· Think about the ways that trauma survivors are drawn to kink
· Explore how kink can be a conduit to heal from trauma
· How can we make our spaces more trauma aware so that healing can happen
Looking over the Cliff: engaging consciously with edge play as a tool to get the life you want
| 1.5 - 2.5 hours
Ideally co-taught with Lauren DeRusha, though able to facilitate alone
All of us desire abundance in our lives, but we’re constantly frustrated, angry, or devastated that for some reason, it remains out of reach for us. In this workshop, we will explore the concepts 1) that we must expand the capacity of our nervous systems to be able to receive all that goodness, and 2) that playing with our edges through kink is an incredibly powerful tool for expanding that capacity. Our ability to stay present and feel safe in our bodies while we experience high sensation and engage with the unknown translates directly to how much abundance (aka the unknown) we can tolerate receiving in other parts of our lives. But if the goal is to push beyond the edges of what we know, how can we be sure to keep ourselves safe?
This workshop provides participants with frameworks, brain hacks, and experiential exercises to understand the critical importance of nervous system capacity, as well as how the window of tolerance works, what it feels like in their bodies, and how to use it during edge play to keep themselves safe. Participants will leave with the tools they need to go forth and use kink consciously to expand their capacity to receive all the goodness and abundance they so desire and deserve.
Lauren: Lauren is a life coach, pro Domme, and educator who uses BDSM play, shadow integration, and parts work to take clients on a journey deep into the heart of themselves. She helps clients get in touch with and get after their desires, heal their core wounding, meet and integrate their self-sabotaging parts, and expand the capacity of their nervous systems to tolerate receiving the life of their dreams.

Sir No Sir! Saying No In D/s Dynamics
| 1.5 - 2.5 hours
Saying no, even in the easiest of circumstances, can be challenging for some of us, especially for those of us who have been socialized female, with rejection sensitivity dysphoria, or for any number of other reasons. Saying no or setting boundaries can become even more challenging in D/S dynamics, where we can want to please/dominate/submit//control our partners. So how do we cultivate the skills to communicate what we need to communicate to honor both the relationship ship and ourselves. In this class we will start by talking about saying no and setting boundaries broadly and then move to how to apply these skills in DS relationships. Both individuals and partner groups and D-types and S-types are welcome to attend.
