Bondage Classes:

Introduction to Asian Aesthetic Bondage (hands on)

Japanese Bondage (known as Shibari, NawaShibari or Kinbaku) is a tradition with a history combining art, martial arts, meditation, torture, and erotic passion.  However, this class is about getting to the meat of the matter- learning the few basic ties that will get you started and actually USING Shibari today.  We will cover single and double column ties, chest harnesses, crotch ropes, and learning to think creatively about combining these key elements in your play.  Bring at least one 25-30ft piece of rope, more if possible, for hands-on play and practice, though limited supplies will be available to borrow from the instructor.

Asymmetrical Bondage (demo with class interaction, hands on potential)

The human eye is drawn to the triangle, the thing that is out of place, the imbalance in life.  Asymmetrical bondage is not just aesthetically pleasing, but a sexually and sensually pleasing practice that puts us out of balance, reminding us where balance really is important.  We will address key ways to bring asymmetry into our scenes, from disproportionate bindings to being forced to balance on one leg, lop-sided ties and punishments to ties that pull in reversed directions. Body stresses, imbalanced desires, and how to pull it all together will be of major import, as well as asking how we can not make it look stupid.

Partners Bondage intensive- Sensual and Traditional Bondage Poses for Partners (5+ hour hands on intensive, limited attendance)

Bondage is not just about how to tie a good knot- it is about the scenes we set and the connection you build with your partner.  We will be looking at some of the traditional poses used in sensual and restrictive Japanese bondage that you can use at home with your partner- and analyze them not just for HOW to do them- but why, and what ways we can do the tying as a scene unto and of themselves.  Also- how to use your bottoms senses to your advantage, ways to connect to your partner(s) using sensual and traditional bondage, communicating desires concerning bondage, and more.

Passion Bound I- Erotic Macramé and Japanese Style Rope Intensive (6+ hour hands on intensive, limited attendance)

Let's get our hands on some rope, and develop our own voice as artists and sensual pleasure enthusiasts! We'll start our day learning the concepts of erotic exploration with rope and desire as our tools, from simple restraints to beautiful combined Japanese style poses that combine chest harnesses and visually pleasing two-column restraints. Then we'll have an opportunity to imagine the human body as our canvas, and rope as our paints- we will learn how to create decorative body harnesses, rope corsets, crotch ropes and rump bindings, and finally learn how to make our own strap-ons out of rope that fit perfect every time. With just 2-4 pieces of 25-30ft pieces of rope (and a dildo if you want to make your own strap-on, but more rope is always nice), we will be able to create a wide variety of ties, from Gyaku Ebi (asian hogties) to Kikkou Karada (tortise shell body harnesses)... and everything in-between. We will get to the core of rope bondage in just one day- talking about our desires, the WHY of why we tie, physical and emotional safety, types of materials to play with, and of course- the basic three and a half knots you need to know to do hundreds of different rope ties. We will also explore partial suspension concepts and talk about the way to find your own style as a rope artist.

Passion Bound II- Harnessing Partial and Full Suspensions (4+ hour hands on intensive, limited attendance)

Using a series of Japanese style techniques, we’ll look at how to get your play partner up into the air or forced onto one toe. In this intermediate to advanced level intensive for students who understand the basics of one and two column ties, basic knots and some understanding of body mechanics, we will look first into the whys of partial and full suspension bondage, then start throwing rope around ourselves.  Students will need a bare minimum of 4 25-30ft and 3 15ft load-worthy pieces of rope and either a suspension ring, 3-4 climbing carabineers, or some other metal load-bearing gear.  From creating drop points and creating mechanical advantage in lifting to creating under and over-arm chest harnesses, swiss seat climbing harnesses, drum ties for inversions, concepts for flipping our partners between poses, and using a multitude of other tie styles, by the end of this course every rigger will have had an opportunity to get their partner, or themselves, up in the air.  Though focussing on the technical aspects of how to move bodies in partial and full suspension, this class will also heavily look into the bio-mechanics of suspension, the whys of doing suspension (from fucking or meditation to torture or trust) to best be able to use this camp of advanced ropework for what you really want it for.

Kama Sutra Bondage (demo with class interaction, hands on potential)

Shakti rode astride Shiva, her arms and legs wrapped around him as if she were tied to his flesh.  Let’s help her.  Binding lover to lover, binding two bottoms facing each other before tandem floggings, paired suspensions, double mummifications… there are so many opportunities out there to have two or more people connected in bondage.  Let’s look to the Kama Sutra and other sources for inspiration as we look at positions, tips, techniques, equipment, and the wrangling involved in multi-person bondage scenes- whether the Top/rigger is bound or otherwise.

Playing with the Head: Hair, Face and Cock Bondage (demo and hands-on versions, alternative with just Hair and Face Bondage)

We look out into the world through our eyes, listen to it with our ears, breathe in every breath through our nose and mouth, and communicate our desires with smiles, sparkling looks and verbal conversation. It is understandable why for many people, facial bondage is an invasion of personal space, an intimate form of play, and a hot way to get someone's attention. We will focus on making rope blindfolds and gags, simple and complex hair bondage, woven head harnesses and more. Bring a 15-20ft piece of 2-4mm line (parachute cord, hemp, silk sash line- whatever works for you) for head harnesses if possible, but standard 6mm line will work for blindfolds and gags. Once we have played with the upper head, we'll turn our attention to the one between the legs and work on basic Cock and Ball Bondage- ball stretchers, cock encasement, cock rings, and more!)

Bondage for the Female Form (demo and hands-on versions)

From intricate or tight breast bondage to curled poses that emphasize the curve of the hip or exposure of their desires, women's bodies provide a unique opportunity for practical and creative bondage. We will work on chest ties for petite, curvy and extra-luscious forms, ropework that exposes or constricts the genitals and rump, body harnesses and rope corsets that emphasize feminine lines, and more. Bring at least two 30ft lengths of rope for hands-on exploration, as well as a willingness to learn and have fun!

Speed Bondage! (demo and hands-on versions)

Who says rope bondage takes ages to tie? In this intermediate level class, we plunge into a variety of techniques, from quick hair bondage to texas handfuffs, traditional taka-takote options to hojojutsu ties. We will also look at how to make our movements more efficient for speed and beauty of movement. Students need to come with a working knowledge of how to tie a square knot (reef knot) and have an understanding of how rope feels in their hands, plus show up in comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Two lengths of rope, 15ft (5+ meters) and 30ft (10+ meters) in length is sufficient to do all of the work in this class, though some rope will be available on hand for folks without any.

Who Needs a Top?  Self-Bondage and Auto-Erotic Play (demo and hands-on versions)

Some of us don't have partners. Some of us are in relationships with folks who can't tie their shoes, or are bottoms themselves. Some of us just like tying ourselves up. Some of us like to masturbate bound. Whatever your reason, you are NOT alone. Ever had to struggle with how to put a crotch rope on a woman who has a little something extra? Wanted to tie up a transman who wanted chest bondage that didn't make him look like a girl? Perhaps you just want to explore some hot ways to tie up your lovers to make them feel androgynous and exposed? Then this class is for you. Breath play is the black sheep of the BDSM family- but folks ARE doing it. Get real. Let’s discuss why and how folks are playing, then plunge into the styles that exist out there, from gas masks to choking, bagging to shared breath play, tantric breathing to nooses and more. This stuff makes us hot, so fess up- you are not alone. We will also touch on auto-erotic breath play, complicated breath play scenes, and health issues involved in breath play.  This is a closed-door class with no late admittance allowed.

The term "switch" has a lot of baggage attached in a polar BDSM community, where you are expected to be a Top or a bottom, a Master or a slave- but there are a thousand reasons why many of us feel a calling to cross over from time to time- while others are born to ride both sides of their souls. We will be addressing why people switch (Tops who want to know what it feels like, slaves who want to serve masochistic Masters, greedy pigs who want it all), strategies to finding play partners or relationship structures (one partner many roles, play partners outside of monogamous relationships, polyamory, swinging, open relationships, self-play), and create ways to check in with ourselves about what our own needs are. Let's get back to what communication is really about- making your relationships in and out of rope hot by getting into each other's heads and really learning to share our fantasies, fears, desires, and needs. Everyone in the Dominant/submissive and Master/slave community seems to talk about protocol, but what is it exactly? Where does the line between "common sense" and "etiquette" stop, and protocol begin? We will look at what Protocol is in a D/s context, delve into terminology, and then examine formats of commonly recognized protocol systems and how these things develop in individual relationships and group dynamics. How does protocol change from public interactions to existing 24-7 in private dynamics? Once we have examined what protocol can be, we will look into how to further develop our chosen dynamics, implement them consistently, and then discuss the difference between enforcing protocol and punishment techniques. These concepts do NOT just apply to M/s and D/s dynamics- from active listening to self sabotage, this class will touch on communication and lifestyle skills for all types of relationships.

Tickle Torture and Sensual Tickling (demo, hands on potential)

Meeting Our Needs: Exploring "Alternative" Relationship Structures (lecture format class)

Modern romance dictates that a single individual should fulfill all of our needs- from sharing joys and fears, co-parenting and financial commitments to sexual happiness, identity confirmation and spiritual fulfillment. Is this fair? We will look into what relationships give us, then explore a wide variety of relationship structures that are being employed to have people fill all of their needs. Monogamy and serial monogamy are valid options, but what about polyamory, swinging, pre-arranged trysts, friends with benefits, and more? How do we communicate in our relationships to make whatever structure we choose actually work, and of course we'll plunge into issues like jealousy vs. envy, new relationship energy, and making each of our friends and partners feel like the unique person they are in our lives.

Taking the Lead: Human Pony, Puppy and Animal Owning/Training (discussion with hands-on)

The freedom of becoming something greater than human is a call for many- the desire to be a noble human equine, a happy puppy dog, an oily pig in a pen, a lazy cat that gets fed, petted and... but what about those of us who have to take care of these "Creatures"?  How do we best see to their needs, help them truly live their fantasies out, create the perfect scenes and live for them- and still get what we want out of being human pet owners?  We will discuss the psychology of human pets and pet owning, practicalities of dealing with bodily functions and the desire to fuck our "pets" without messing up their head space, shopping for our ponies and puppies, and then have some general play time to interact with the pets we may have brought with us today.  This is a great class for folks who are just curious about being a human "creature" as well- get your whinnies heard by your owners!

Trotting Towards Happiness: Pony Training Techniques (discussion with hands-on)

So your human pony/horse has a name, and you've taken the reigns. Now what? We'll address a wide variety of training techniques and play opportunities for human ponies and their handlers, for ponies whose interests vary from being wild ponies being "broken" to show ponies that just need an excuse to show off. Concepts include blindfold training, high stepping, sound and body language, use of reigns, lunge lines, pony body stances and types of movement, helping your human pony move in and out of pony space, the debate of ponies and punishment, and so much more.

Binding Intentions: The Art of Rope Magic (hands on and demo versions)

Fiber art magic has been a part of sacred mysteries for ages, the Fates measuring our lives, weaving them into the tapestry of life, and then cutting our cords when our time has run out. We will dive into the applications of rope magic, from intention setting to connection building, blessings and curses, weaving lives together and relaying the strands of our own lives into the patterns we desire. From classic Wiccan spells of eight knots to dream catchers, erotic bondage as a connection tool or ordeal, binding energy into our relationships, laying physical cord as a route to laying silver cords in the astral realms, and creating “haunted” rope, rope magic comes in a thousand forms and we’ll touch on as many as we can. Also addressed will be concepts of ethics in energy work, the conflicts of formal fiber traditions with modern minds, and even weave our senses into modern applications of fiber magic.

Femme FTM: Drag Queens, GirlyBoys, Men in Skirts, and Feminine Transmen (discussion based class)

If other men can be femme, why can't we? There is a prevailing myth in the world of psychology and gender that transitioning individuals need to adhere 100% to their "new gender", but if we've spent our lives having issues being squished into one gender mold, why should we be forced into a new one? In this class and group discussion, we will discuss a wide variety of places that femininity can be experienced by men (and have been experienced for thousands of years), from athletes that enjoy knitting to super fabulous drag queens who are no less men at the end of the night. Do you sport skirts, lip gloss or long hair? Have you been tackling the issue of being told you have to give up something you love "because you are a guy"? Then this class is for you.

Reclaiming our Pleasure Rights: Sexuality, Psychology, and Ecstasy for individuals outside the gender binary and their lovers(lecture and discussion based options)

Let's skip to the meat of the matter: we want sex, we have sex, and we deserve sex. But how can we reclaim our pleasure rights when we won't even talk about it with our friends and lovers? In this class we will dive into the fears we have around rejection and body dysphoria, then put that all on a shelf for a few minutes to dive into what actually WORKS! How does humor and joy play into our pursuit of pleasure? What issues face trans folks or others who are outside the binary who have male partners, female partners, trans partners, and hell, what do you call the stuff between your legs anyway? Does it matter? We'll touch on the issues of safer sex as well, in a community where our desperation to be touched the way we need to be touched has led to a heartbreaking habit of doing anything to get our needs met.

What Labels Give Us, What Labels Take Away: The Power of Gender and Sexual Identity Labels (interactive lecture format)

Before many of us were born, we were given gender labels that set our life course in motion. In this discussion and personally explorative class, we will dive into looking at a variety of questions: What labels have you been gifted, inhereted, chosen, been forced into, or run away from? How does your internal identity for yourself affect your outside identity and your interpretation of gender and sexual roles you play or fill? What power do your labels grant you for flirting, community exposure, personal interactions, group dynamics, and more? What do you loose by stating a specific label or expressing it physically at first meeting another individual? How are these labels all formed, and why don't we just scap them all? Labels can get us hot, labels can turn us off, labels drive us mad, and labels give us hope for claiming our own sense of self. Let's challenge ourselves, look deep inside, then examine how it all affects the current communities we each play a part in.

Beyond Roleplay: Invocations and Evocations for Ritual Work and BDSM (lecture/discussion format class)

Instead of looking at what doesn't work, or who we aren't - let us work together to build an internal and external vocabulary of what works for us, setting one foot in front of another on your OWN Path of Erotic Authenticity.  Be challenged to laugh, smile, put on our thinking caps, open up a bit about our own paths, and start chewing on our truths, perceived truths, wants, and true core needs.

◊ Kaseeka Training

A number of years ago, before he branded me as part of my own bodily reclaiming ceremony, Fakir Musafar was talking with me about the concept of the Kaseeka.  A Mandan and Dakota term, it was used to refer to "he who has gone before"- the man who has gone through extreme ritual in the past and now helps initiate those who want to go on that journey for themselves.  He does not show them the one true path.  He does not say "this is the only way"- he is there as a guide, as a mentor, as a resource for helping that new pupil find their own path.

I believe very strongly in every person finding their own path.  My journey is not yours.  But having been in the BDSM, Swinger, Kink, Fetish, Polyamory, Cuddle and Paganism scenes for over 12 years and having traveled the globe, exposed to almost every community and kink there is out there in the scene- I know that I have a lot to offer as a mentor.  If you want to learn to paint you can study the great artists work through the ages and ponder them for years- but isn't it more useful to learn how to pick up a brush, find your paints, and have someone show you the basic brush strokes so you can find your own voice as an artist.  I offer just that.  A way for you to find your voice as a sexually adventurous person- whether in developing a single skill set, building up the gumption to finally play in public for the first time, having a sounding board to find out what you really *are* into, having someone to explore with, or someone to help you develop the skills you desire for the future of your sexual, or spiritual, adventure.

These skills are not just limited to how to tie a knot, cast a circle or torture a foot.  One of the things I find the most in people who are new to the scene or long to develop their repertoire as a erotic explorer, is that they don't have faith in their ability to communicate their desires with themselves, let alone with potential play partners.

How does Kaseeka Training work?  Each person is different, each path a different one to tread.  Thus, I negotiate heavily with potential students/path mates or acolytes.  In the end, what I prefer is to set up the ability to spend a few solid days with a student- whether over the course of a weekend, or once a month every other month for a year.  If at all possible, this is preceded with lengthy email and phone conversations to determine where the path may lie- but paths are tricky, and have been known to come to crossroads- and I have been known to be very skilled at rolling with the punches.  I also offer one day intensive training, where we begin over lunch and go deep into the night talking, doing hands on education, developing tools for your future, and more.

I am happy to travel for passionate and interested students, including researching where play parties will be happening, coordinating invitations to said events, etc.  My training is not a guarantee that we will play in public, and if you seek that, please say so up front.  I do not take kindly to subtle manipulations from potential students or acolytes.  However, I do want my students to go as far as possible- and that includes making the experience as amazing as possible for everyone involved.  For those who are spiritually inclined, I enjoy marking our journey by ritual... for those who are not, I can be as laid back as you like.  Let's talk!

KaSeeka training rates are on a sliding scale from $400-1000 per day or $750-3000 per weekend after all expenses have been covered by the student (travel costs, event entries, housing, etc).  This includes days if not weeks of work in advance on my part, building take home resources for the student/path mate, homework assignments, follow up conversations, planning calls and emails, phone consultations and other expenses.

Individuals interested in becoming acolytes should know that this is not a path lightly taken.  This long term arrangement is for individuals interested in specifically following my own path in magic and sexuality, and I only accept acolytes on rare occasion.   Thus, there are no specific set rates, as each relationship evolves based on my teachings and philosophies, and each is as unique as the relationship that evolves.
